History

A masía in three scenes

  1. 1989 — Aqualandia begins

    A professional family business starts holding events under the name Aqualandia, between Valencia and the Albufera natural park.

  2. 2018 — Aqualandia becomes Masía Santarrita

    After a long career, the family decides to give its events venue a change of image, and gives it the name it bears today.

  3. Today — Three halls, gardens and water

    Three independent halls with their own kitchens, waterfall gardens and a jetty on the Albufera. A wedding planner is with you throughout. The next wedding is yours.

Three halls, a garden for the ceremony and another of water, among rice fields, at the entrance to the Albufera.

  1. The ceremony gardenA white pergola with a wooden roof in a romantic garden; the couple arrive along a path of white flower bouquets.
  2. The water gardenCrystal-clear water among fountains, a great waterfall of natural stone and a wooden bridge: a compulsory stop for photographs.
  3. The jettyThe venue’s own jetty on the Albufera: the couple can arrive at the ceremony by traditional boat.
  4. Salón DoradoThe largest: high ceilings, a big stage and tall windows onto the waterfall and the wooden bridge. Its drinks reception is the garden of the Ullals.
  5. Salón PlazaRound, like a romantic marquee lit as a starry night, with stained glass of traditional Albufera scenes. Its drinks reception is the Albufera square.
  6. Salón AmanecerA light room with painted ceilings and gilded columns, with round tables and a curved built-in bench.

From a quarter past six in the evening to four in the morning

You arrive by water

If you like, the couple arrive at the ceremony in a traditional Albufera boat, from the masía’s own jetty. Guests park on site, among palm trees and rice fields.

Open-air civil ceremonies, with live music and corners decorated to each couple’s taste.

20:00 · Drinks reception

Drinks among fountains and gardens

Each hall has its own open-air reception area: the Ullals beside Salón Dorado, the Albufera square beside Salón Plaza. An in-house kitchen for every space.

The light comes down on the water

While the drinks go on, the light turns gold, then pink, then blue over the ponds, the bridge and the fountains. It’s the hour for photographs.

To the table

Three independent halls, each with its own kitchen. Two of them: the round marquee of the Plaza and the white and gold of the Amanecer.
